The health of the oral mucosa and tongue, including their normal shape, condition and appropriate color, are also carefully checked. In the case of existing dentures, fillings or crowns, these must also be checked regularly for stability. Periodic check-ups are almost exclusively aimed at detecting possible dental problems at an early stage so that they can be treated quickly and with relatively few complications.

During a check-up, you will be given a detailed explanation of each necessary subsequent treatment step, the overall dental findings and the expected duration of the treatment.

During an informal, non-binding consultation, we can get to know each other without time pressure and talk about your personal wishes and ideas, possible fears, dislikes or dental preferences.

Following a detailed examination of your teeth, you will be informed in detail about the findings and the possible future course of action in your individual case. All treatment methods and objectives will of course be presented to you in detail, explained clearly and discussed with you.

The purpose of a regular dental check-up is not limited to determining the health of your gums and teeth. Every dentist also examines the exact function of the chewing muscles and your jaw joints.
