Data Security (SSL/TLS Encryption)
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security purposes and to protect the transmission of confidential information, such as appointment requests or messages sent via the contact form. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar. When encryption is enabled, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
Communication via Email
Please note that communicating via unencrypted email poses security risks. If you send us an email, we assume that we are authorized to reply to you via the same method. If you do not wish this, please expressly inform us. For the transmission of particularly sensitive medical data, we recommend sending it by mail or delivering it in person at the practice.
Contact Form (Squarespace)
If you submit inquiries to us via the contact form, we will store the information you provide in the inquiry form—including the contact information you provide there—for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. This data is processed through our website provider, Squarespace. We will not disclose this data to unauthorized third parties without your consent.
Server Log Files
Our hosting provider (Squarespace Ireland Ltd.) automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This information includes, among other things, the browser type and version, the operating system used, the referrer URL, the hostname of the accessing computer, and the time of the server request. This data cannot be associated with specific individuals. This data is not combined with other data sources.
Cookies and Consent (CookieYes)
We use cookies. Technically necessary cookies are required for the website to function. We only set all other cookies—particularly those used for marketing—with your consent. These are managed using the CookieYes consent tool (CookieYes Limited, Ireland). You can revoke or modify your consent at any time via the cookie banner. When you do so, a cookie is set to save your selection.
Google Tag Manager and Google Ads
This website uses services provided by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland). Google Tag Manager is used to manage website tags. With your consent, we use Google Ads and conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements. We receive only statistical reports that do not contain any information that personally identifies you.
Google Business Profile and Reviews
We use a Google Business Profile to showcase our practice. If you leave a review for us on this platform, Google’s privacy policy applies. Please note that reviews are publicly visible. Please be careful not to disclose any sensitive health information about yourself in public reviews.
Website Hosting (Squarespace)
Our website is hosted by Squarespace Ireland Ltd. When you visit the website, technical access data is processed on the provider’s servers. As a data processor, Squarespace is contractually obligated to comply with data protection regulations.
Multilingualism (Weglot)
To make the website available in multiple languages, we use the Weglot service (Weglot SAS, France). In this process, page content is transmitted to the provider’s servers for translation. Personal data is not processed by the provider for its own purposes.
Online Appointment Scheduling (Denteo)
We use the Denteo software for online appointment scheduling and practice management. The information you provide when booking (e.g., name, contact information, preferred appointment time) is processed to handle your appointment request and treatment planning. This provider’s privacy policy also applies.
Patient Data and Physician-Patient Confidentiality
As part of our dental care services, we process health data that requires special protection. This data is subject to professional confidentiality under Article 321 of the Swiss Criminal Code (StGB) as well as to statutory documentation and retention requirements. The processing is carried out exclusively for treatment and billing purposes.
Disclosure of Data to Third Parties
As part of your treatment, it may be necessary to share certain information with external service providers. This applies in particular to dental laboratories (for the fabrication of dental prostheses) or health insurance companies (for billing purposes). Such disclosure is strictly governed by medical confidentiality and occurs only to the extent necessary to fulfill the terms of the contract or as required by law.
Transfer Abroad
When using digital services (e.g., Squarespace, Google), data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland and the EEA, particularly to the United States. The providers rely on recognized safeguards such as the adequacy decision for the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention Period
We process and store your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations. Medical records are subject to strict statutory retention periods in Switzerland. In accordance with the provisions of the cantonal health law (Canton of Zug), we retain your medical records for at least 10 years after the completion of treatment. Once this period has expired, the data will be securely deleted or destroyed.
Your Rights
Under the Swiss Data Protection Act, you have the right to access the personal data we process, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data deleted, and to have data disclosed or transferred. In addition, you may object to the processing of your data and revoke any consent you have given at any time. To do so, please contact the data controller listed above. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. The version currently published on our website is the one that applies.
