Orthodontic Treatment for Children, Teens, and Adults
Our dental services cover the entire spectrum of modern orthodontics. From the early treatment of the youngest, to the care of children and adolescents, to the correction of misalignments and modern therapies for adult patients. For the vast majority of children and adolescents, regular orthodontic care begins as soon as their first teeth change. During this childhood growth phase, jaw anomalies can be easily corrected. Whether a fixed or removable appliance is used for this purpose must be decided after a thorough functional analysis of the chewing apparatus. In addition to the dental necessities, the patient's preferences, concerns and fears (especially in children) should of course also be taken into account in the decision-making process.
Invisible Teeth Straightening with Aligners
Clear aligners correct misaligned teeth almost invisibly—ideal for anyone who doesn't want to draw attention to themselves at work or in everyday life. The aligners are removable, so you can eat and brush your teeth as usual.
Fixed and removable braces
Depending on the type of misalignment and age, we may use fixed braces or removable aligners. We’ll determine which method is right for you or your child during a personal, no-obligation consultation.
Which type of braces is right for me?
We will be happy to explain which treatment methods and orthodontic appliances or braces - visible or invisible, removable or fixed - are suitable for you in a personal, no-obligation consultation at our dental practice in Herti.
The Orthodontic Treatment Process
We begin with a thorough examination and digital diagnostics. Healthy teeth, a healthy masticatory system, and good oral hygiene are prerequisites for starting treatment. After that, we’ll support you with regular checkups until a stable final result is achieved—including retainers to ensure the result is long-lasting.
Orthodontics for Adults—It's Not a Matter of Age
Orthodontic treatment for adults is not a matter of age. Today, treatment is provided using state-of-the-art technology and advanced methods, making it very comfortable, discreet, and unobtrusive—sometimes even invisible. However, successful treatment requires a restored set of teeth, a healthy masticatory system, and good oral hygiene. Misaligned teeth, especially in the front, tend to worsen with age. This condition can be caused by teeth that are slightly misaligned, difficult to clean, crowded, or overlapping—teeth that are constantly at risk of periodontal disease and/or tooth decay.
